Where we live:
It took us a couple months to decide on our current house in Waco, but it has been growing on us (literally). Becca has planted some fruit trees and grape vines and worked on a garden. We love the open space behind us that is a flood plain and the creek access.
Previous to Waco, when Nate accepted a job with SpaceX in California, we found a little townhome to rent.

Previous homes:
Our previous house was a three bed / two bath in Gilbert, Arizona.
After surviving 2 hours on the road every day commuting from North Phoenix to Gilbert for 2 years, we decided to find home that was close to Nate’s work, with the reasoning that Becca would be traveling less with little ones and Nate would be available more available when needed by being close to home. We now live about 5 minutes from Nate’s job, which is really nice for everyone. Becca has about a 30 minute drive in traffic, but half the time she’s driving in non-rush-hour traffic.

Our first house in Arizona was a three bed / two bath in North Phoenix.
When we moved, the housing market wasn’t doing so well, so we are renting it. We are enjoying some of the aspects of being small ‘business’ owners and dealing with the other aspects of it as they come up. Anyone want to buy or rent a home in North Phoenix? 🙂

Our first apartment:
Because we got married in the summer (2003) and both of us were on internships in different cities, we actually didn’t live together for the first 3 months of our marriage. That sure confused people when they would call for Becca and I told them we weren’t living together. 🙂 When the summer ended and I returned to College Station, TX we merged our 2 apartments into our first home together, a one bed, one bath apartment in the College Main Complex. It was a great location close to campus and a reasonable price. We lived here until we left College Station after Becca’s graduation in 2005. It was small and snug, Nate’s school/work office was in the master closet, and Becca’s desk was in the living room, but we liked it. It was a good way to start our new lives together.
Here is Nate almost done moving in:
Becca lived in Lechner Hall her first year at A&M.
