Current –

  • Homeschool is my primary job. We try to get most of the important schooling done in the morning and then we do fun or extracurricular activities in the afternoon.
  • Proverbs 31 Properties – We started a house rental business in Aug 2017. The goal is to have enough rental income for Nate to quit SpaceX and start working as a pastor. Possibly even a startup church which might mean no income or very small.
  • Connections (Opened Sept 2020) is our afterschool activity center and community outreach company. I’m there most days. I don’t take a salary but we try to make enough money to pay the bills to continue to do the ministry. It runs about 20-25 hours a week depending on scheduled activities.
  • Church administrator – I volunteer about 6 hours a week (I don’t keep very good track and it is hard to draw the line between classes I teach and other volunteer time vs work) doing the books and administrative activities for our church.
