I know Nate has been keeping some of you up-to-date on his dad. Here is the latest, which we got while we were in Australia (I’ll post about our trip when pictures are up, which I’m working on as soon as I’m done with laundry, dishes, sleep, this post . . . )
Thank the God! IT ALL TURNED OUT GOOD!
The doctor’s whole purpose for going in was
1. To take a look up in the kidney to see if there was any cancer there. – HE FOUND NONE THERE!
2. to check the tube that connects the kidney to the bladder. – HE FOUND NONE THERE!
3. One of his main objectives was to see if he could get the root of the cancer that was in the bladder. – WHICH HE FELT HE WAS SUCCESSFUL AT GETTING IT ALL.
4. He took samples of where he had done the surgery three weeks ago, and all around where he did the surgery this time. – AND HE SAID, IT ALL LOOKS GOOD.
We go back this coming Thursday, July 20 to get the results of the tests.
Because he felt he got it all, and that it was encased within the Bladder, he felt that there was no need to remove the kidney or the tube.
So for now, we thank God. He helped us dodge another bullet. And we have another to day to sing God’s praise.
I feel pretty good. They put an stint in there to give the valve a chance to heal without growing closed. And that stent is rather uncomfortable. But it also comes out this Thursday.
Hey have a good time. And thank everyone for their prayers and concern. We love you.
