Digital scrapbooking. Its just what it sounds like, using photo editing software to create your scrapbook pages instead of doing everything with scissors, glue, and cardstock. And I feel silly because I never though to do it myself. I spend a lot of time working with our photos already and I already have a version of software that would work (though I’m going to upgrade). So, I have jumped in with both feet and am thinking of giving away all my old ‘regular’ scrapbooking supplies. No more running out of tape or being mad because I can’t find just the right color (or hating my handwriting).
I’ve been taking a free online class from HP here: Online class and I’ve been picking up some new tricks on how to use Photoshop that I didn’t know before. I’m very proud of my latest project, the cover to my scrapbook.
The link below is to my first digital scrapbook (of Hannah of course). The first two pages are scanned in because I had already made them, the rest I did in Photoshop.
First Digital Scrapbook
I have a feeling this scrapbook will evolve as I learn new things. Exciting to have an old hobby get incredibly more fun and less messy!
