Stephanie G Take turns reading to her at night before bed! That was my fav thing that my parents did for me when I was little; it was relaxing time with them and helped me develop a love for literature.
Mary Evlyn W My grandmother’s special thing she would do with us was baking. Baking cakes and things like that, but we would also make like yogurt popcicles and things like that. We all definitely remember that.
Cassie W Park, play area at McD or the mall, or if you want to do more My Gym is great
Corey W Projects. Finger painting, coloring, making things. All of those are cheap, but fun for kids her age. If you are wanting the same activity, then a park to fly kites, play, etc. I don’t think it’s what you do, but that she is doing it with you!
Bill N Beth C Play-do, bubbles and crayons are always a hit. Or read her a book, anytime, but especially at bedtime – in her bed. It sets a quiet mood and gets her comfy with her bed. I began reading novels to Brendan when he was only 4. He loved it! I miss that special time with him.
