So, if you son poops, but catches it with his hand in such a way as to not get it on his underwear or your carpet and proceeds to take it to the toilet to flush it . . . do you consider this a potty training success?

Julie M I wouldn’t consider it a potty training success but I’d say he’s on his way to becoming a neat freak.
Aaron G Omg lol
Dawn V Gross! LOL
Bill N Beth C Sounds like one of those clorox moments they advertise. When Brendan was his age his friend came down stairs telling us and his parents that he lost a piece from his pullup. We all searched the house to find it… they were really good friends. We found it.
Rebecca Diltz Nate Moehring Lol, Bill N Beth, at least he told you it was missing. 🙂
Leah N Yes! First, count it all joy…then count it as a success. He is very aware of his body, and doesn’t want to mess up his clothes (or your house, you blessed mama), soooo poop in the potty straight from his little bottom is surely just around the corner! : ) You’re a great mom, Becca!
Rebecca Diltz Nate Moehring Leah N, he did it today! 🙂
