We attended a homeschool day at Vertuccio Farms with our group. We’ve been to a couple other ‘farms’ in the area. One of them is a functioning dairy farm and one is more of a small scale vegetable patch that does some of the holidays like pumpkin patches and Christmas trees. This place was more like a farm amusement park. I’m not sure if they actually do much farming. It seemed like it was open all year with some regular special attractions. They had representatives for most of the expected animals, a huge slide, a hay bale run, a very large jumpy and a smaller one, a playground area, a huge corn maze, a train ride, and a lot of other little carnival type games. We spent all morning there and didn’t do everything, we had to leave because of lunch/nap time and we ran out of water and cash. 😉
We’ll go back again next time they run a special for us!
