Christina M how about enjoy summer….
Rebecca Diltz Nate Moehring Yep, except summer isn’t any different than any other time of year for us. We already do fun stuff almost every week and spend all our time together. Mostly I just need to have some stuff on hand so that she doesn’t spend 12 hours in front of the TV when we aren’t out and about, because that would probably be her preference. 😉
Erin S Let her pick a project. What is she in to?
Rebecca Diltz Nate Moehring She picked cursive. . . 😉 I really thought that would last a bit longer. I think I need to find her some type of self paced art book. Need to do some online searching . . .
Rachel H I have the Draw Write Now books if you want to borrow some of those. We did Singapore math so I picked up the extra practice book and am just having my son do a page or so of math review per day during summer. We do field trips and fun projects too but I agree that it helps to have some quiet work for when you are around the house.
Carolyn LJonathan is doing a paint by number this summer.
Lacey W summer vacation!
Becca C My friend’s kiddo went to this really awesome private school and she learned how to knit at a very young age. Hannah could get the whole family ready for winter. ; )
Rebecca Diltz Nate Moehring Hehe. She did ask me recently about knitting, might have to pick up one of those kid kits at wal-mart and learn with her. But that reminds me I have a sewing kit that I think she could do. 😉 Thanks!
Erin S Knitting is very Waldorf. Sewing would be good. Also cooking/baking. Isaac likes gardening and building as well.
Donald B Have her write a short story. Start her on photography.
