This past week we said goodbye to our Disney passes. We already have Knott’s passes for the rest of the year and it didn’t make sense to renew the Disney ones. Also with Joel tagging along, it makes it a little less enjoyable if I don’t have another adult with me because Benjamin can’t ride any rides by himself yet. My pass says I went 32 times and I think the kids went a couple times without me. I think we pretty much canvassed both parks. So, all in all, I think we got our money’s worth!
Nate took Monday off to go with us and we had a really great day. We had a few things on our bucket list that we hadn’t done yet like the canoes and were able to get them checked off and all the timings and shows and lines just seemed to work out. Nate and I were able to do rider switches due to Joel and I got to ride some big kid rides for the first time in awhile.
On Tuesday, we went with a group of friends who also have passes and had fun playing with them all one last time.
We were pretty worn out on Wednesday morning, but we decided to go one last time for part of the day and ended up seeing some characters we hadn’t seen before and got some new autographs.
Disney really is a magical place and we’ve enjoyed this past year tremendously!

Lacey W Aww…I’m thinking about heading to Disney in September for my fall break.
Rebecca Diltz Nate Moehring Do Knott’s instead! wink emoticon You can still stay here if you need to and we’ll do dinner or something with you.
Lacey W I have a little more time this year, so maybe I can do both! I’ll probably still spend a couple of days at the Disney resort, because I think that is so cool, but I’ll take you up on a place to sleep on another day or two. I’m still trying to figure out exactly when, but it’ll be the last full week in September.
Char C we’ll miss our disney buddies!!!
Terry R Brings back memories. I grew up very close to there!
Nate Moehring People sometimes say that Disneyland is so small (compared to Disneyworld I guess), but I’m happy to say that on my final trip I did like 5 things that I had never done before. I didn’t go 32 times, but I really enjoyed the times I went, thank you Disney! -Nate
