I came across a new term recently, I don’t know if it is new or I just haven’t heard it before. . . rainbow babies. Babies who are born after a loss. They are called this due to the significance of the rainbow in the bible as a promise of God after the storm of Noah’s flood. So, on this year’s Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, I remember my babies in heaven while celebrating my double rainbow – and my ‘normal’ miracle middle child. smile emoticon

Linda L Thank you..our first grandchild was only on earth for 17 days then went to the Lord. Rainbow baby sure does fit our grandson born after the loss. He is sunny, warm and the joy of our lives. Love the term.
