As a way of keeping a record and memory of what the kids accomplish in a year, we do one lapbook for the whole year (because I can’t handle much more than that!). I print out images of the books and workbooks they have completed and pictures of any fun activities we have completed. Benjamin’s kindergarten lapbook is mostly finished. We will add in some of the extra stuff we are doing over the summer. He wasn’t very interested in being neat this time around, but he got the images into their correct sections. I didn’t think he was paying much attention, but he brought one to me and said “Mommy, we haven’t done this book.” And he was right, it is the last little book we will read for his science that we are working on finishing up.

Allie W I’m trying to figure out what I’ll do this year. Some sort of binder though I think, but a small one, to put images of things we covered.
Rebecca Diltz Nate Moehring I decided I didn’t want 12+ binders times 2+ kids, so we ended up with lapbooks. Should be able to put all of them in one binder per kid at the end. I’ve got regular records too and their school picture folders. I don’t keep much paperwork, but scan anything the kids really liked. 100% digital except these.
Allie W scanning would be good. I have 3 binders I’m emotionally attached to LOL
