Myself and a couple others decided recently that we were going to try to run a Math Bee for our homeschool group. I competed in Number Sense in UIL and another homeschool dad did too and we think we want it to be similar to that, at least for the upper grades. This is one of the first things about homeschooling that has actually got me personally excited (since my kids are still doing basic math and I’m about to have to teach the alphabet again)! I’m gonna have to brush up on my mental math tricks. Haha.
