This ended up being our longest day in the car. Originally we were going to spend the night at a friend’s halfway to AK but that fell through. Then we tried to find something interesting to see in Ohio (and couldn’t haha) so then we wanted to get to St. Louis to take a photo with the arch and by the time we got there, we only had five hours left and didn’t really see the point in the staying the night. We hit AK at 11:30 and made it to where Mom and Dad were around 2am. We really did try to find a nicer lunch place, but ended up just grabbing McDs. We got pizza with nacho cheese in Indiana. And just tried to stay in the car other than stopping for state signs.
