Started out at 6 in the morning in Waco. Amy had driven up the day before. It was 109 degrees and we were happy to leave. Kids did great on the road. We lost a piece of siding off the door of the van somewhere on the other side of Dallas. Drove through Arkansas, trying to get all the truck drivers to honk for us, and made it to Mephis, TN and our hotel with pool for the evening. We were only 5 miles from Mississippi so we did a short detour to get that state.
