Del F Looks like Woody Woodpecker is visiting you. They have machinegunned my pine tree just like that.
Rebecca Do you think they’ll be ok or is there something I can put on there that will keep it away?
Del F You my try filling them with a tree sealer then wrap with tin because they will be back. Insects are probably going to find those holes as easy food or borrow then Mr woodpecker swoops in for a quick bite from his premade bowls.
Chelsey H Is that a silver poplar ? Looks more like Botryosphaeria canker, white rot
Rebeccaapple tree, if it is that, what should I do?
Chelsey HMaybe have an arborist come check it out and identify if it is diseases or elemental.
