Missing my grandma and looking through my great-grandma’s box of treasures. This is her 5th(ish) grade report card 1907-08.
Scotcharoos for emotional support.

Judy S Very interesting! Don’t remember ever seeing this. Grandma was a good student! I am not surprised! I’m wondering if she didn’t go to school from Jan through April.?? I also am remembering that she was born in 1898 (I think!) so if this was her first grade report card she would have been 9/10. That would be more like a third or fourth grader of today. Wish she and Mom were both still here to talk to about her schooling.
Rebecca I have her as born in 1896 so you are right. I have another one when she was 8 and this one would be when she was eleven. So more like 3rd and 5th, on the card it calls it 2nd and C. She only went 20 days on the first one so maybe missing for planting? Or maybe school wasn’t open those months?
Judy S thanks for the reply. Good guesses on all that! Maybe I was thinking Grandpa’s year of birth which must have been 1898. Grandma was a couple of years older than Grandpa. Or at least I know for sure that she was older.
