A Weird Object

The very proud badger displayed a lot of interesting loot for all his woodland friends to see. Two curious squirrels examined one of the strange objects extremely carefully. The outside was yellow as a banana peel but, the inside was as hard as wood, there was also a light metal on the top. The Monkey said. “What is that pink fruit on top?” There was black mineral at the bottom. The animals decided that it was a fruit: the lead was the seed, the eraser was a dead worm, and in the middle part was the fruit.
But we know it’s a pencil!
