Music is art.
Instead of being something you look at, it’s art you can hear.
The way the different instruments blend together, rising and falling like waves in the ocean, crashing into each other. Beautiful. You can dance to it, moving with the flow, or you can simply sit there and let it wash over you.
How the lyrics, and the way in which they are sung, are masterfully crafted to evoke different emotions in you. They might be happy and uplifting, or mournful and sad; something you relate to or dream about having. They make you think about your own life and the people in it.
It takes careful planning and work to make a song, just like a painting or sculpture. It is an expression of someone’s skill and creativity and soul, reaching out to yours.
Music is art.
It’s art you can hear.
